How do I install CRM 365?

CRM 365 is installed via Microsoft AppSource or the SharePoint App Catalog. After installation, a Microsoft 365 administrator must approve the API permissions (Mail.Send, Calendars.Read) in the SharePoint Admin Center. The app then auto-provisions all required SharePoint Lists on first launch.

What SharePoint permissions does the app require?

Users need at minimum Contribute permission to the SharePoint site where the app is deployed. Administrators need Full Control for initial setup.

Why do I see “Access Denied” errors?

This is typically a SharePoint permissions issue. Ensure:

1. The site administrator has approved the API permissions in SharePoint Admin Center → Advanced → API access
2. The user has Contribute or higher access to the SharePoint site
3. The user’s account is not blocked by a Conditional Access policy

The app doesn’t load in Microsoft Teams. What should I do?

Ensure the SharePoint app is added as a Personal App or Tab in Microsoft Teams. In Teams Admin Center, the app must be allowed for your organization. Also check that the user’s browser allows third-party cookies (required for SPFx in Teams).

How do I send emails from CRM 365?

Email sending uses the Microsoft Graph API (Mail.Send permission). This must be approved by a Microsoft 365 administrator in SharePoint Admin Center. Emails are sent on behalf of the signed-in user.

Can I import existing contacts from Excel?

Yes. CRM 365 supports Excel import for Contacts, Companies, Deals, Activities, and Contracts. Use the Import button on each module’s list view. Download the template first to ensure correct column formatting.

Where is my data stored?

All data is stored exclusively in SharePoint Lists within your Microsoft 365 tenant. No data is transmitted to SPS Viet Nam Technology. Your data stays under your organization’s full control.

How do I back up CRM data?

Since data is stored in SharePoint Lists, you can use:

• The built-in Export to Excel feature in each CRM module
• SharePoint’s built-in backup/restore (via SharePoint Admin Center)
• Microsoft 365 Backup (if your organization has this license)
• Third-party SharePoint backup solutions

I accidentally deleted records. Can I recover them?

Yes. CRM 365 moves deleted items to the SharePoint Recycle Bin (not permanent deletion). You can restore from the SharePoint site’s Recycle Bin within 93 days.

How do I update to a newer version?

Updates are delivered through Microsoft AppSource. In your SharePoint App Catalog, go to the app and click “Deploy” to update. Alternatively, upload the new .sppkg file to your App Catalog.

Is CRM 365 available in Vietnamese?

Yes. CRM 365 fully supports English and Vietnamese. Switch language in Settings panel within the app. The app auto-detects browser language on first launch.

What is the maximum number of records supported?

CRM 365 has been tested with up to 1 million records per list. Performance depends on your SharePoint tenant tier and network conditions.
